Gel cleanser
This gel cleanser is lightly scented, it wasn’t overpowering. It’s a gel like consistency. It did remove my makeup and made my skin feel fresh and clean. I enjoyed using it in the shower.

Smells so good
This face wash smells so good. It is gentle and helps to clean all the dirt and oil off my face. It makes a good lather to make sure that you’re getting all of the make up off of your face.

Very gentle
This is a very gentle cleanser. I don’t have sensitive skin but if you do you will be just fine. I like that it has some of the bead like texture in with the gel. It does give a little exfoliating but not too much. I do still use the exfoliating scrub that matches it.

Gentle Cleanser. Smells So Good!
When I was looking for a new cleanser I wanted to find something that was free of all the sulfates, parabens and silicones but also smelled good. This totally hit the mark for me. The light fragrance is so refreshing. And I love how gentle it is. Leaves me with a little glow afterwards.

Very luxurious feeling foaming cleanser
After washing, my face felt nice and moisturized where normally it feels dry. This has a nice, light sweet-ish scent. Not too overpowering. I followed up with the matching face lotion and my skin felt amazing! I will update as I use it more.

This cleanser smells so fruity and good!
It’s exactly what I need with the warmer months coming.
This is free from all the junk, and it leaves my skin feeling really clean, yet not dehydrated.
Some cleansers leave my skin feeling dry, however this one didn’t.

Works well on combination sensitive skin
I have had good experience with K-beauty products of different price points. This Food Story cleanser is relatively inexpensive and lathers well. It is a thick, clear gel cleanser that left my skin feeling well cleansed and not overly stripped. I have combination sensitive skin and this didn’t cause any redness, irritation or sensitivity.

Lovely face wash
This is exactly the type of facial cleanser that I like best. You only need less than a pea sized drop to get a nice lather going. It starts as a clear gel, and once it gets wet, turns into a smooth, low lather. The fruity scent is absolutely lovely, very subtle, and light. My skin is left feeling clean, but not stripped. I would definitely purchase this face wash again and am very pleased with it.

Nice smelling facial cleanser.
This cleansing gel smells SO delicious that I want to eat it!
I love that eco friendly packaging and the calming cooling on the front. This product comes out of the bottle easily and gently. I like how it feels on my skin a lot. This is something I plan to keep in my shower as a backup facial cleanser since it would be great for a double cleanse routine. It would also be great for younger people who are just starting to begin a skincare regime.

Fruity clean palate
The tube has a foil seal and is in a cardboard sleeve that looks exactly like the tube itself (like a dustcover on a book) inside of a plastic bag. I think the sleeve is to prevent the cap from opening. Anyway, it has a fresh, fruity scent. It comes out as a clear gel and lathers creamy. Only a little is required. I’m not wearing makeup these days, but it seems like it would do the job removing it (you might need a bit more, of course). My face felt completely clean – not dry or moisturized – just like a totally clean palate. That stands out most to be because so many products dry or moisturize, and sometimes a clean palate just feels best to start with when you’ve got a lineup of products to follow. I already use hyaluronic acid in my morning products and often night routine and even supplements, so I’m not sure there’s much more to be gained from also washing with it. It felt good from beginning to end, but personally, I don’t think I have to pay so much for similar results. However, it may be the perfect combination for someone else, and I will enjoy using this.

Cleanses well but does not foam up.
Ok so let me immediately say that if you must have a foaming cleanser then you won’t like this. It has very minimal foam but I don’t need a lot of foam at all. This is a clear gel with a very delicious tropical scent. I use two nickel sized drops of product and am able to apply it to my whole face and neck and then use both hands to wash my face. It feels like gel but is slick when rubbed on the skin. It is not too difficult to rinse off but it does require a good number of splashes to get it all which is good. I don’t need very much product to feel like I am really cleaning my face well. When I rinse it off, my skin has a squeaky clean feel to it.
Something to keep in mind is that I have extremely sensitive skin and I typically can’t use clear, scented produce in my body, especially not in my face but I am so pleasantly surprised that I experienced zero drying or irritation with this cleanser. I will admit too that I do not have experience with facial cleansers at all. I typically wipe my face with a generic exfoliating wipe then add Vaseline because lotions tend to cause irritation but for the past two or so weeks I have been establishing a skin care routine with several facial care products, I his being the first cleansing facial product and so far I absolutely love it! I love how my skin looks and feels after using this. I love the smell and and rather blown away that it can smell so good, yet not cause my sensitive skin any sort or redness or irritation and actually leave my skin feeling clean. I gotta hand it to the company that made this. They really do know what they are doing and I will no doubt order this again.

This face cleanser is very gentle, feels good on my face as I create a very light foam, and it washes off well, leaving my face feeling clean and not dry at all. There is a light, pleasant scent and I don’t feel like I have to put on moisturizer immediately (though I do because it’s best for my skin).

I enjoy guava products due to the smell and taste. It’s not common to find in North America so it caught my attention when I came across it on Amazon Vine. The fragrance smells different than what I expected but it’s still nice. The power of the scent is subtle and not overwhelmingly sweet. I wanted a change from milky opaque cleansers. This is a transparent gel, which fits what I am looking for. I was also looking for one that’s low foaming/lathering. This ticks off that checkbox as well. Just to be clear, it’s not low to the point of non-existent. Surprisingly I had a couple cleansers that were literally non-foaming. It washes and rinses well without any negative side effects. It has something gritty/beady in the gel that took me by surprise. I believe it’s the “Hyaluronic Acid Capsules”. It’s not a harsh exfoliant. It feels gentle. Not sure if it’s my imagination but my face appeared brightened after the wash. It felt soft as well. It came with a safety seal underneath the lid. Thank you! However, no manufacturing date or expiration. That was disappointing. Only says to toss out after 12 months of opening. This cleanser actually made a good first impression on me which is rare. I will continue using it and update my review in the future if necessary.
