Blueberry is one of the top 10 superfoods selected by the U.S. TIME magazine.
Harvested from July to September, blueberries are known for their excellent antioxidant properties, which contribute to maintaining youthfulness. Despite being only 56 calories per 100g, they are rich in various nutrients such as beta-carotene, vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, dietary fiber, zinc, folic acid, potassium, and calcium.

The foam is light purple in cover and is lightly scented woodsy scent. Surprisingly, there is no blueberry in the scent. It foams nicely and does a good job cleaning.

Mild skin-friendly foaming face wash
Usually foaming face cleansers are far too harsh/drying on my skin, but I was pleasantly surprised to notice that that wasn’t the case with this cleanser! It very mild, while doing the job it needs to do.
I came packaged in a bit of extra cardboard, Im assuming to lower the risk of being squashed, which was also pretty nice.

Not as drying as I though would be!
It foams up nicely, and has a sort of pearlescent shine before you rub it in!
Smells very nice, not too fragrant to cause irritation!
I felt very refreshed after using this, and only felt tightness in the small areas where my skin is dry! (Saying that though, I wouldnโt recommend this for fully dry skin, best for normal, combination, or oily skin)

I must say that I really do like this brand and their products are mostly good, as is this one.
However, this cleanser does not smell like blueberries at all.
Itโs a light clean fragrance but I do not smell blueberries or fruit.
The pearlescent purple is really pretty, and it only takes a very small amount to cleanse the face.
It doesnโt over dehydrate the skin and it does cleanse well.

Gets nice and sudsy
This product is nice. It comes out very “whipped” in consistency but it suds up nicely and leaves you squeaky clean. I have used it 1x a day for a couple weeks now and have had no adverse reactions. My make up applies nicely afterwards (after my skincare routine) and it has a pleasant berry/soapy smell. For a plant based and sulfate free cleanser, it definitely lathers up better than I expected. It’s at a fair price point and seems to be ethically sourced. I like it.

I waited a full week before I reviewed. This cleanser goes on smooth and a little foams up a lot. I was hoping for a nice blueberry scent but that isn’t present. It’s a clean wood like smell (birch). My skin felt clean and refreshed after but I feel it did dry out my skin. I followed up with my moisturizing cream.

Clean, prepped skin
I bought this because I was hoping for a blueberry, lavender, or even as one reviewer said, a “minty fruit” scent. I thought I smelled a light floral at first, but all I could smell afterwards was a light soap smell. It’s an unusual and pretty pearlescent pale purple. It’s a thick soap, not a foam, but a little bit creates a lot of creamy lather. It leaves my face feeling very clean, not dry or moisturized, but completely naked. Definitely use moisturizer afterwards. It feels like it would remove makeup and prep for makeup well. It had a foil seal and comes in a cardboard sleeve that I think is to protect the cap from opening.

Creamy, with a good lather
I liked how creamy this soap was and how well it lathered with water. I found that during the first time I used this soap, I used too much because it lathered much better than expected. It has a light, pleasant scent, and was a great face wash. My skin is always on the dry side, so I always use a moisturizer after washing my face. After washing and moisturizing my face, I didn’t notice my skin being overly dry. My skin has a very slight tightness to it, but it feels soft and doesn’t seem dried out. I like that this soap is more environmentally friendly, it doesn’t include many harmful ingredients, and it isn’t tested on animals. A great value that I would get again.

Gentle cleaning; good lather from a very small amount; unique color and sheen
I’m pleased with this face cleaner. It has a somewhat unique color — it’s a pale blueish/purplish since it includes blueberries, plus has a sheen to it. It is a thick consistency. Only a small amount is needed per use since it lathers so well. The scent is light to the point where I would describe it as being pretty close to unscented. It does a very good job of cleaning without leaving my face feeling dry or tight.
While the price per ounce is not cheap, since so little is needed per use I would rate the overall value as excellent. It is made in Korea.
No complaints at all. It cleans well without drying or irritation, and the overall value is very good considering how many washes you can get from the tube. Five stars.

A Small Amount Cleans Well (Even Mascara) Without Drying
5.07 ounce tube of a concentrated foaming face wash made in Korea that rinses off cleanly.
The face wash is a very light purple color with a shiny luster to it. Looks pretty as it comes out of the tube! It foams quickly when water is added and was very effective at removing makeup, including mascara, when I tried it out. However I did not find it drying or harsh.
It is concentrated and a very small amount was plenty to wash my face and produce plenty of lather.
The ingredients list shows fragrance is added but it smells like soap to me and not like a highly scented product. I prefer not to use highly scented products and this one has struck the perfect balance.
Note that the tube has been safety sealed with an aluminum foil seal inside as shown in my photo. Really like that feature.
The tube was enclosed in a cardboard sleeve that exactly matched the printing on the actual tube itself.

Lathers Up Very Well, Gets Skin Clean With Drying Out/Causing Irritation
The Food Story Blueberry Revitalizing Cleansing Foam is an excellent face wash that lathers up into a thick dense foam and gets skin clean without drying it out. The greyish-blue soap is somewhat thick but airy, and it lathers up very well when rubbed between your hands. Although the lather is very dense, it rinses out easily. It gets skin feeling clean and fresh and has a soft, pleasant scent that doesn’t linger once your skin is dry. I can’t say how well it removes makeup by itself as I usually remove my makeup using a two-step face washing process. That said, it does remove the oil that I use to remove my makeup, and I had no issues with any oily residue being left behind. It didn’t irritate my skin in any way, and for my son who is going through the acne period of his life, the wash is helping keep his skin in check. Overall, it’s a good quality wash for the price, and definitely worth getting if you want a gentle wash that’s free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, formaldehyde donors, and silicones.

I used this in the shower after doing a lap swim workout in a chlorinated pool.
Maybe my nose wasn’t at its highest level of performance, but I didn’t detect a blueberry scent; or really much of any scent (maybe that’s good).
I squeezed about a pea and a half size dollop of this into my palms and rubbed them together to make a nice creamy lather.
As lather goes, it was about a 5 or so of richness on a 10 scale.
I massaged it onto my face and neck with my fingers, and then followed that with one of those vibrating cleansing devices with the teeny silicone “bristles”.
This facial foam has the distinction of being the first cleansing foam that actually created MORE lather using the silicone bristles.
I’ve tested a lot of facial cleansers and usually with a device like that, the lather dies, or if I’m lucky stays about the same.
The product has a nice feel to it; I would call it non-drying but….(I’ll get to that)….
The texture is maybe about a 3 or 4 in thickness on a 10 scale.
If you’ve ever used shave cream that comes in a tube, it reminds me of that.
The color is fun; an almost iridescent lavender color.
Okay, the “but”….
I said it felt non drying, but understand this; after drying off, moisturizer goes on me IMMEDIATELY; still in the shower stall. So, how my face would have felt if I had not put on a facial moisturizer, is something I can’t really say.
I do tend towards dry skin though (and was testing a new moisturizer right after using this).
It’s a nice product; I’m glad I ordered it and will enjoy using it.

It is lavender in color with a sheen to it that is like one noxema has. It does not smell like blueberries, you 100% just smell the willow bark. It lathers nicely and leaves face feeling nice , clean and smooth. If you use Burt’s bees with the willow bark (I believe it is sensitive) it will smell and lather the same. No adverse reactions (I am sensitive skin).
